Kawasaki KFX700 ATV Sport
From its super-aggressive styling to its tradition-breaking technical innovations, every inch of the KFX700 screams attitude. As the first and only Sports ATV to feature a CVT automatic transmission and shaft drive, the big KFX is out to make a name for itself. And it’s not all talk – the KFX700 has got the goods. By incorporating technical innovations such as Kawasaki’s unique, enclosed wet multi-plate rear braking system with must-have performance features like twin-piston front disc brakes, lightweight aluminium wheels and high-traction, Carlisle Hole-Shot tyres, the KFX700 packs a knockout punch.

Shaft Drive
A first for Sports ATVs, the KFX700 does away with the high maintenance and short-lifespan of a traditional chain and sprocket final drive system. Instead, the KFX utilises a fully-enclosed drive shaft to deliver high-efficiency and extremely low-maintenance.

CVT Automatic Transmission
In another first for Sports ATVs, Kawasaki has taken the radical approach of utilising a constantly variable automatic transmission system in place of a traditional, manually operated gearbox. The result? – A power delivery that’s incredibly smooth, easy-to-use and highly tractable.

697cc V-Twin 4-Stroke Engine
The KFX700 builds on the Workhorse 650 V-Twin's highly acclaimed engine, extracting even more explosive power and blistering high-end performance. Engine capacity has been increased to 697cc and both valve and ignition timing has been reconfigured to make the KFX700 the ultimate off-road thrill.

Lightweight Competition-Style Frame
Further proof that Kawasaki is pulling out all stops to rule the Sports ATV roost, the KFX700 is the first production sport ATV to use a single-pipe front tube frame construction - usually only found on serious custom competition machines.

High Performance Suspension
The KFX700’s lightweight, racing type front suspension utilises flat-angle, long A-arms complemented by an upside down gas-charged shock at the rear for high performance off-road handling.

Competition Wheels and Tyres
You can’t have a serious ATV unless you’ve got some serious rolling stock, which is why the KFX700 comes fitted as standard with super-grippy, Carlisle Hole-Shot tyres wrapped around lightweight aluminium wheels with welded inserts for added strength and durability

Its engine comes straight from the World Supercross Championship-winning KX450F with the addition of digital fuel injection and a reverse gear for backing out of tight situations. The all new aluminium frame is both lightweight and rigid, plus it’s designed for superb handling and to allow the KFX450R to maximize traction without wasted wheel-spin. Kawasaki made the KFX450R race-ready so that extensive, and expensive, modifications are unnecessary to put it ahead of the pack.

This high performance machine doesn’t require extensive and expensive modifications to make it race ready, because it already includes all the race winning performance and technology required for success straight
out of the crate. The KFX450R’s design incorporates everything riders need to win races. Every component was chosen to maximize performance on the track or in the woods and to minimise the fuss of getting there. This highly advanced racing ATV comes with all the performance and technology necessary to put riders at the head of the pack. The KFX450R ATV uses a power-plant based on Kawasaki’s highly acclaimed KX450F motocross engine. With the addition of an efficient and highly responsive 32 bit digital fuel injection system, the KFX450R’s engine produces more torque in the low and medium rpm ranges for outstanding hole shot acceleration.

The use of fuel injection helps ensure that the engine’s performance remains
consistent and is virtually unaffected by changes in temperature or altitude. This ATV’s ability to find traction is superb, and its four-stroke torque helps keep the wheels hooked up for improved handling and higher corner speeds. Other race ready features include a lightweight titanium exhaust header pipe and a durable forged piston.

High Performance 4-Stroke Engine
The KFX450R’s power plant, based on the highly acclaimed engine of the KX450F motocrosser, was newly designed for use in an ATV racer. Adding fuel injection, an electric starter, fitting a reverse gear, lowering the centre of gravity, re-tuning the engine for low-mid range torque to suit the weight of an ATV, and revising the intake and exhaust systems are among the many changes.

Digital Fuel Injection
The KFX450R's fuel injection increases race competitiveness by eliminating a key disadvantage of carburettors: fixed engine settings. This means no more compromises when riding in varied conditions.

5-Speed Transmission With Reverse
Following the ideal line is not always possible. When problems arise, the KFX450R's reverse gear (a class first) will prove indispensable in returning to the race or trail quickly.

Lightweight Competition-Style Frame
The KFX450R comes equipped with a high performance frame right from the start. It is the first ATV in its class to offer a completely aluminium chassis for pure lightweight performance

Racing Cockpit
The shape of the seat, tank and side covers on the KFX450R were specifically designed not only to not hinder the rider’s mobility as he moves around, but also to provide support when hanging off in corners.

The new 2007 four stroke KFX90 is the ultimate kids thrill machine. Recommended for entertaining kids 12 years and older it will face up to the toughest of dirt challenges, attacking anything riders throw in its path with grunt and charisma.

Just like the smaller KFX50, the KFX90 has aggressive styling and lines mimicing its larger KFX models.
